Event / Safari Area

Mi-Te-Jo has a large, level, grassy area available for small groups and events. The area is predominantly open, with a line of trees behind and a large tree in the middle. The Meadow contains twenty water & electric hookups. The Meadow has a port-a-potty in the area and a dump station is available upon exiting the campground. This area is suitable for group rallies, family reunions and similar events. Please call us with information regarding your planned event or to obtain more information.

Cabin Rentals

Have you ever wanted to try camping but are not quite ready to invest in camping equipment? Are you tired of tenting but not ready for an RV trailer? Have you ever wanted extended family to join you, but not had enough room in your trailer? If so, then a Cabin Camping is the way to go!

Mi-Te-Jo cabins are 13' x 15' with a six foot covered porch and a separate 10' x 12' screen house. The cabins are set on a site with a picnic table, fireplace and pedestal grill. Each cabin comes with a set of bunk beds and a double bed. Only mattresses are provided, so it is necessary to bring your own linens or sleeping bags. Inside, there is a small refrigerator, a table, a TV and a half bath. Overhead is a loft for extra storage or sleeping. There is an overhead light, ceiling fan and electrical outlets. It is necessary to bring your own cooking equipment and utensils. Smoking and pets are not allowed in cabins.

Cancellation Policy

Refunds are given with a 14 day notification.
Less $20 for reservations made after Jan 1st.
Less $30 for reservations made prior to Jan 1st.
Refunds are not given for early departure or unfavorable weather.

Reservation Policy

Off season – Opening day thru Father’s Day and after Labor Day until closing: Reservations during this time may be made up to a year in advance. Minimum of two nights is required for an advanced reservation.

Summer Season – After Father’s Day thru Labor Day: Reservations for 7 days or longer during this time may be made up to a year in advance. Those wanting to rebook the same sites, for the same week the following year, may do so with a non-refundable $30 deposit 2 days prior to their departure.

Reservations for less than 7 days during the “summer season”
are limited and may be booked starting on April 1st.
