Campsite Rules & Policies

Campsites

Check-in: 2:00 PM / Check-out: 12:00 Noon.
We do have an early check-in option for a fee, but it is subject to availability (must call ahead). We absolutely cannot accommodate arrivals prior to 11am, so please plan your travel accordingly.
Early access (before check in time) does not guarantee site will be ready or available at time of arrival. Extended access (after check out time) does not guarantee guest will be able to stay on site until departing from the park. Early access/extended access only guarantees access to the campground and campground amenities, which requires parking in overflow.
Rates are based upon 2 adults and 2 children.
Sites are limited to a maximum of 7 people, of which 4 may be adults.
We have adopted dynamic rates which fluctuate based on occupancy similar to the hotel and airline industry. With that being said, rates vary based upon availability and are subject to change with each search.
Must be 21 or older to rent a cabin or a campsite.
Limit of 1 RV per site.
All daily site rates (except W/E Tent Sites) include water, electricity, septic and cable.
50% Deposit required on all reservations. Balance due in full 30 days prior to arrival.
100% Deposit on Holiday Weekends.
For seasonal sites, small charge to leave electricity on during week or no charge if unplugged.
Visitors rates are as follows:
- Adults: $5/day, $10/overnight.
- Children: $3/day, $5/overnight.
Refunds:
- 2+ weeks:
  - Non refundable $25 cancellation fee or full refund issued in camp credit.
- 1+ weeks:
  - 50% of Reservation issued in camp credit and 50% forfeited.
- Less than 1 week:
  - Full reservation forfeited.
Refunds are not given for early departure or the discomforts of nature.
Reservation Policy:
- Two night minimum required at all times. Three night minimum during holidays.
- Reservations with a Sunday departure during Memorial Day Weekend or Labor Day Weekend are not permitted unless made within 1 week of arrival.

Add-On Refund Policy:

1+ weeks: Refund less $10 cancellation fee issued as camp credit.

Less than 1 week: Full reservation forfeited.

Reservation Change Policy:

Changes to reservation arrival or departure dates made outside of the respective cancellation window (2-3 weeks) will result in a one-time courtesy change and every change made thereafter will be charged a $15 service fee.
Changes made to decrease occupancy or pets resulting in a credit owed will result in the issuance of a Camp Credit. Camp Credit will remain active on the User Account and will expire one year from issuance.
Reservation arrival or departure dates may not be changed inside the cancellation window.

No Shows:

Reservations will be held until check-out time on the day following your scheduled arrival. No shows will result in full forfeiture of funds.

- Lake Bluff Bungalows require a 3-night stay during prime season (6-23 to 8-23) and holidays and a 2-night stay during shoulder season.
- Reservations with a Sunday departure during Memorial Day Weekend or Labor Day Weekend are not permitted unless made within 1 week of arrival.

Pet Policies

Pets are allowed at all CAMPSITES free of charge.

The fees for pet friendly CABINS are as follows:

All dogs must be friendly, leashed at all times, and able to be calm in a campground setting. Dogs showing aggression or barking continuously will be asked to leave.
All dogs must be comfortable on a 6 foot leash while being walked. When dogs are tied at the site, they should be tied 5 feet short of the perimeter of the site. They should not be within reach of other sites, the road, or walkways. Retractable leashes and electric fences are not permitted.
No dogs are to be left unattended outside of your camping unit. Dogs cannot be left unattended on tent sites or in screen rooms.
An up to date rabies certificate must be available to Mi-Te-Jo management upon request. Please be sure that you have your papers with you. Pets too young to be vaccinated must have had a recent veterinary exam.
For the health and safety of all, pets are not permitted on the beaches, playgrounds, ball fields, or campground buildings.
Please be sure all dog droppings, anywhere in the campground, are picked up. “doggie bags” are located throughout the campground.

Dogs who would like to enjoy the lake may take a swim at the boat ramp. Be sure that your dog also takes time to enjoy a long walk on the wonderful trails throughout our back woods. Be sure to grab a doggie bag prior to your walk.

Large Unit Rules & Policies

General Rules/Policies

• Must be 21 years old or older to rent campsite or cabin.
• While site type is guaranteed, specific site number is not, unless you have paid the applicable lock in fee.
• Campers may arrive on a motorcycle, but are not permitted to ride the vehicle throughout the Camp-Resort.
• Sorry, we cannot accept reservations that include either a one-night stay or a Saturday arrival or departure, unless made within 1 week of arrival.
• 3-night minimum during Memorial Day, 4th of July (June 29th-July 8th), and Labor Day weekends on cabins and campsites.
• We do not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. The fun continues rain or shine. Our cancellation policy varies depending on the timing of your cancellation notice.
• No bicycle riding after dark.

Cabin Reservations

While cabin type is guaranteed, cabin number is not unless you have paid the lock fee.
Check-in 4 pm
Check-out 11 am
We have an early check-in option beginning at 11am, but is subject to availability (must call ahead) and involves a fee based on the time of check-in.
Late check-out is available for a $10 fee (shoulder season) or $25 fee (prime season) to stay in the park until 6pm, subject to availability. *Must vacate cabin at 11am.
Early arrival does not guarantee site/cabin will be ready at time of arrival. Late departure does not guarantee guest will be able to stay on site/cabin until departing from the Camp-Resort. Early arrival/late departure only guarantees extended access to the Camp-Resort and Camp-Resort amenities.
No tents allowed at cabins.
Maximum number of people based on cabin type.
2-night minimum on all cabins. Hill Country Cottages have a 3-night minimum during prime season (June 16-August 18).
Rates based on 4 people (2 years old and older). Additional person fee applies.
2 car max per cabin. Additional cars are $5 and must park in overflow lot.
Our cabins are non-smoking. An excessive cleaning fee will be assessed if policy is violated.
Pets are only allowed at pet-friendly cabins, so please request at time of booking. Two pet max. 1 pet- $10/night ($40 max), 2 pets- $15/night ($60 max). Hostile or disruptive pets will be asked to leave the park. View our pet waiver here.
Full amount is due at time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

We do not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. The fun continues rain or shine. Changing the dates of a reservation is considered a cancellation of the existing reservation and re-booking a new reservation, and will be subject to a $25 re-booking fee. Our cancellation policy varies depending on the timing of your cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date.
